Aspirin Mask

I finally finished my new theme for wordpress. I actually enjoyed making the header image, but coding it was INSANE. The dang thing is so complicated, and in the end, I just did whatever and uploaded it. Looks alright, but it could have been better. I was never much of a patient person.

I’ll be working on the pages soon, and will be adding articles as time goes on. I do have a beauty related one that I found on MakeupAlley. It’s about aspirin mask/scrub, and I will definitely give it a try when our house stocks up on aspirin.

Ingredients: 2 aspirin; water

Directions: Take two aspirin (it doesn’t matter which kind/brand) and place them in the cap of the aspirin bottle. Apply ONE drop of water onto each tablet and let sit for a minute. By touching them with your finger, you will notice that they will crumble into a gritty powder. Scoop up some of the “powder” onto your finger and rub it onto your face. Continue until you have used up all of the aspirin powder. Let sit on your face for ten minutes, then wash off with water in small, circular motions.

Review: It felt grainy and was hard to apply. The amount wasn’t nearly enough for my face, or maybe I just have too much area to cover (fat face? lol). Either way, it didn’t feel pleasant at all while it sat there. I washed it off after 10 minutes, and I noticed nothing special. My face still felt the same, except maybe a tad smoother since the graininess of the mask worked somewhat like a scrub. Cheap? Yes. Effective? No, not really. Worth it? You decide.
