A Walk to Remember

I was talking to Eric about movies that make us cry, and he mentioned A Walk to Remember. I’ve heard good reviews for the movie from friends, but I wasn’t interested in watching until now that he mentioned it again. He said not only did he cry during this movie, it was also one of the 2 movies he actually shed tears for, the other one I had already seen.

So of course, I go download it of BT and watch it, and I swear, my eyes are going to be so swollen tomorrow. It’s such a beautiful movie! I can’t believe I’ve never bothered to watch it before. I was crying and sniffling like mad when she told him she was sick, and I couldn’t stop. I cried even harder when he asked her to marry him, I missed most of the scene.

It’s stories like these that make me want to experience a love that beautiful. They were both like angels in each other’s lives. She helps him realize that there’s beauty, hope, and joy in life and changes him for the better. He in return brings love, warmth, and happiness in the last months of her life and helps her fulfill her dreams. I so saw the marriage thing coming, but when it did, ah, I cried just the same. It was too beautiful. *sniffles some more*
