Hostee Etiquettes
I’m sorry, but I just had to post this. Yes, I have 20gb of space and 750gb of bandwidth, which is more than I’ll probably ever need, thus I set my hosting standards rather low. You have a decent site and need space, feel free to ask for hosting. However, I do not like it when people automatically assume that their sites meet the standard, when quite sadly, they don’t. I’m not asking for Mona Lisas here, but please, at least change the default font! Maybe it’s just me, but I find Times New Romans totally inappropriate on anything except English essays. Also, deafult blue and purple links should be considered illegal too. I find it sad that I’ll have to add that to my list of requirements.
What I find even more insulting is this:
it would be cool if i could get a domain like supergraphix.net or . org
What is this? So now I’m just some charity giving away free domains? Maybe if your site was totally amazing and gorgeous, then I might consider, but quite frankly, it sucks. Now if you were a friend, I still might consider, but a total stranger asking for a free domain? What is this world coming to? I’m sure your mother didn’t teach you to go up to random people and ask for money, so what makes you think you can come asking me for a free domain? And you didn’t even say please!
The lesson of this post? Don’t assume, as it makes an ass of me and you.

Random Updates
Wordpress is definitely more powerful than I had expected. It’s really amazing what you can do with the countless hacks out there. For example, I just installed an avatar hack that features a usericon very similar to those of Livejournals.
I’m also working on the long abandoned project with Saga, Jaime, and Tamisa . It’s a review site + mini community, and it’s all powered by wordpress. I’m still playing around with the features and figuring out how to hack it to best suit our needs, and so far I’ve been successful. We will open the site as soon as Jaime, Tamisa, and I finish with our college applications.
Went to a rummage sale at the local church today, and while I was looking at the books there, I saw one that looked interesting so I decided to pick it up, but for some reason I picked up the book beside it, and it was “He’s Just Not That Into You“, a book was on my Amazon Wishlist! I bought it of course, since it was only $1. Also bought 2 Garfield comic books. Got to love the sarcasm of that cat.

Skype
Skype = gathering place for perverts, idiots, illiterates and pedophiles. It’s an incredible. Just set your status to “skype me”, a stream of weird, perverted, non-English speaking, 40-year-old pedophiles will come stalking you saying things like

msn? sex cam? like dick?
give me picture
Or they just start calling right away. Like wtf. Do these people have nothing better to do other than stalk people and show off their sex organs? And what is up with people asking you for your msn screen names? Can’t you just talk, if you want to talk at all with these freaks, in skype? Anyways, I thought this was pretty funny:

new phone!
My Panasonic VS3 finally came in the mail today yesterday! I took the liberty of taking some photos of the phone and some of the covers I ordered.
I wasn’t able to test it right away because neither my old phone or my dad’s uses sim cards, so I had to wait until mine came in the mail. Lucky for me, I recieved it today after coming back from JRP. The phone works absolutely fine, and I adore the screen to death. I have a feeling I will like my new phone very much. :3

college aps = death
I can’t wait till applications are done with. I never thought I’d be this stressed over it. I mean, I heard from the seniors last year that it was bad, but man, it IS bad. *dies* I did manage to get some of the basic stuff done for most of my schools since I had no homework at all today. Which brings me to another point: why must teachers assign quizzes and assignment due dates ALL ON THE SAME DAY? I’m starting to think it’s some sort of conspiracy at our school to make our lives miserable. Even my mom thinks they’re weird.
Back on topic. I just realized that I’ll need TOEFL scores for half of the schools I’m applying for. I don’t mind taking it, but the fact that the test location is in DC and is from 6:00pm - 10:30pm ticks me off. Furthermore, the earliest date I can take it WAS Novemeber 4th, but I made a mistake and had to start over, and when I did, THAT DATE WAS GONE! So now I have to wait till the 11th. Ugh. Will go speak to my counselor about this tomorrow to see if there’s a way to worm out of it.
But asides from the hell of an application process, I’m rather excited about tomorrw. If it doesn’t rain, I’m going shopping at Lord & Taylors (dress sales! :D) before going to JRP. If it does rain…bleh. I’ll stay home and work on my applications some more. And I’m also going shopping at montgomery mall Friday after school with Jin. Yes, life is good. :3
Have you considered buying a diploma or a copy of diploma? Joke college diplomas make for a funny decoration in an office! What do you think your family members will think when you come home with a high school diploma from a school of your choice?
